What is TB-500?
TB-500 peptide is the name commonly used for synthetic thymosin beta-4, a 43 amino acid peptide supplied here as lyophilized powder for laboratory research. It is a staple of cell migration and tissue repair studies and is regularly requested alongside BPC-157.
What is TB-500 peptide?
Thymosin beta-4 is found in most mammalian cells. Its best characterised role is binding monomeric G-actin, which makes it a regulator of actin polymerisation and therefore of cell shape and movement. TB-500 peptide reproduces the full 43 residue sequence with an acetylated N-terminus.
Research interest centres on what follows from that role: cell migration, new blood vessel formation and tissue repair in dermal, corneal and cardiac models. A general overview is available in the thymosin beta-4 reference article.
TB-500 peptide research areas
In the published literature, TB-500 peptide has been examined in the following areas, mostly in cell and animal models:
- Actin sequestration and cytoskeletal dynamics
- Cell migration and angiogenesis
- Dermal and corneal wound models
- Cardiac repair models following ischaemic injury

Buy TB-500 peptide for research
We supply TB-500 peptide in research grade 5 mg and 10 mg vials. Current prices are listed in the table further down this page. Use the Order button beside any size to send an enquiry with that item already filled in.
Each lot of TB-500 is analysed for purity by HPLC and for identity by mass spectrometry, and a Certificate of Analysis is supplied with the order. If you need a document for a specific lot before you buy, ask through the contact page.
Wholesale TB-500 peptide orders
Wholesale orders start at a minimum of 50 units, and you can request any quantity above that. Tell us the size and number of vials you need and we will confirm the total by email. We accept Apple Pay, Zelle, Chime, Cash App, USDT and Bitcoin.
How to store TB-500 peptide
Keep the lyophilized powder at -20°C, protected from light and moisture, for long-term storage. After reconstitution, store the solution at 2 to 8°C and use it within the timeframe shown on the Certificate of Analysis. Avoid repeated freeze and thaw cycles, which can degrade any peptide.
Researchers who work with TB-500 often also order BPC-157 peptide. You can see every compound we carry in the research peptide catalogue.
TB-500 peptide: common questions
What purity is your TB-500 peptide?
Purity is measured by HPLC for every lot and printed on the Certificate of Analysis that ships with it. Identity is confirmed separately by mass spectrometry, so you can check both what the material is and how pure it is before you use it.
Why is TB-500 peptide supplied as a powder?
Peptides are far more stable dry than in solution. Freeze-drying removes water without heat, which protects the peptide during shipping and storage. The powder is reconstituted in the laboratory shortly before it is needed.
Can I order a single vial?
Our standard terms are wholesale, with a minimum order of 50 units. If you need a smaller quantity for evaluation, send an enquiry and tell us what you are looking for.
Is TB-500 peptide for human use?
No. It is sold for laboratory and in-vitro research use only. It is not for human or animal consumption and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
